If you are anything like me and my husband, the minute you have your open water certificate you will begin to think about buying your own diving equipment.  Then you'll begin to realise just how much it will cost.

There is nothing wrong with used diving equipment as long as you know what you're buying and preferably trust the owner of any dive gear you consider buying.

Many experienced divers will say it's false economy to buy used diving equipment and to some extent that's true.  However, beginners rarely know exactly what they want.  I find it better to buy second hand and  maybe sell it on when find you have a better grasp of what you want.
